Norma touched so many throughout her life. She was a devoted Wife, Mother, and Grandmother, and dedicated to community and service. While working at Murray, Schoen, and Homer she also served as First Woman President of the Independent Insurance Agents of Westchester County & the Downstate Council of Insurance Agents, First Woman Recipient of Frederick H. Dayton Award for Outstanding Agent and Community Involvement, past chairman of Visiting Nurse Services in Westchester, Board member of Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers, board member of Larchmont Rotary, and an Elder at Larchmont Avenue Church.
She believed in celebrating life and thus, the family asks that in lieu of sending flowers donations may be made to Larchmont Ave Church, Visiting Nurse Services in Westchester or YMCA of Central & Northern Westchester.
