Universal Life Insurance – The policyholder may change the death benefit from time to time (with satisfactory evidence of insurability for increases) and vary the amount or timing or premium payments under this flexible premium life insurance policy. Premiums (less expense charges) are credited to a policy account from which mortality charges are deducted and to which interest is credited at a rate that may change from time to time.
Variable Life Insurance – Life insurance under which the benefits relate to the value of assets behind the contract at the time the benefit is paid. The insured has a choice of funds into which they can invest. ,The amount of death benefit payable would never be less than the initial death benefit payable under the policy.
Whole Life Insurance - Life insurance payable to a beneficiary at the death of the insured, whenever that occurs. Premiums may be payable for a specified number of years (limited payment life) or for life (straight life).
